Delete PDF pages in 3 steps

  1. Choose your PDF or drop it onto the box above.
  2. Type the pages you want to remove, for example 2, 5-7.
  3. Press "Delete Pages" and download the new PDF.

How it works

  • Just type the numbers

You don’t have to scroll through thumbnails. Write the page numbers and ranges, and only those pages are taken out.

  • Your original stays as it is

You get a new PDF and the file on your device isn’t changed. If you typed the wrong page, start again with the same file.

  • Statements stay private

The pages are removed by your browser, so a bank statement or contract you’re trimming isn’t uploaded anywhere.

  • Free on any device

Use it as often as you like, with no account and no app to install. It works the same on iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac.

Questions about deleting pages

How do I remove pages from a PDF?

Add the PDF and type the pages to delete, using commas and dashes. For example, 2, 5-7 removes pages 2, 5, 6 and 7. Press "Delete Pages" and the remaining pages are saved as a new PDF, in their original order. You can’t delete every page, because that would leave an empty file.

What is the difference between deleting pages and splitting?

Here you list the pages you don’t want. With Split PDF you list the pages you want to keep, or break the file into single pages. Use whichever list is shorter to type.

Does deleting pages change my original file?

No. The original stays exactly as it was. You download a separate, edited copy, so you can always go back to it.

Will the file get smaller?

Usually, yes, since the removed pages are gone. Fonts or images that are shared with the remaining pages stay in the file, so it doesn’t always shrink in proportion. The pages you keep aren’t re-compressed and look the same as before.

Can I delete pages from a password-protected PDF?

Not yet. Open the file with its password, save a copy without the password, then add that copy here. If you add an encrypted file, you’ll see a clear message telling you so.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. Your browser removes the pages on your own device and the PDF doesn’t reach our servers. Nothing is kept after you close the page.
