In short: your files stay on your device, we don’t ask who you are, and this page explains what the site collects and what it doesn’t. Last updated: 21 October 2026.
Your files
Every ConvertKoala tool runs inside your browser. When you merge PDFs or convert images, the work is done by code running on your own phone or computer. Your files aren’t uploaded to our servers or anyone else’s, and the site has no upload endpoint at all. The finished file is created on your device and saved from there. When you close the page, nothing is left behind.
Since we never receive your files, we can’t see, store, scan or share them, and there are no copies for us to delete.
Accounts and personal data
The site has no accounts. You don’t give us your name, email address or any other personal information to use the tools. If you email us, we keep your message only so we can reply.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views in total: which pages are visited, from which country and on what kind of device. It doesn’t set cookies or follow you to other sites, and it has no access to the files you work on, because those stay in your browser.
Advertising and cookies
To cover hosting costs, we may show advertisements in the future through partners such as Google AdSense. Once advertising is turned on, the following applies:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings.
Ad partners have no access to your files. Ads appear next to the result, not inside the tool, and no third party is involved in the conversion itself.
Other than advertising cookies, the site only saves a few small preferences in your browser, such as your light or dark theme and whether you closed the language notice. These stay on your device.
Hosting
As with any website, our server and our content delivery provider receive standard technical data when a page is requested, such as your IP address and browser type. This is used to deliver the page and to protect the site from abuse, not to identify you.
Changes
If the way the site handles data changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
