Merge PDFs in 3 steps

  1. Choose your PDF files or drop them onto the box above.
  2. Drag the files into the order you want.
  3. Press "Merge PDFs" and download the combined file.

Before you start

  • Your PDFs aren’t uploaded

Your browser joins the files together on your device. Since nothing is sent to a server, there’s no copy of your documents anywhere else.

  • Up to 50 files at a time

Each merge takes up to 50 PDFs, 300 MB in total. There’s no daily limit, so you can merge as often as you need.

  • No signup

You don’t need an account, an email address or a credit card. Open the page, pick your files and merge.

  • Nothing to install

It works on a phone, tablet or computer in any up-to-date browser.

Questions about merging PDFs

How do I merge PDFs on iPhone or Android?

Open this page in your phone’s browser, tap "Choose files" and pick your PDFs. Set the order with the arrows, then tap "Merge PDFs". The merged file is saved to your phone like any other download.

Is it really free and unlimited?

It’s free, with no daily quota and no paid plan. One merge can hold up to 50 files and 300 MB in total, and you can merge as many times as you like. We can keep it free because the work happens on your device rather than on our servers, so a merge costs us nothing.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The merge runs inside your browser. Your PDFs stay on your device and don’t reach our servers, so there’s nothing for us to store or look at.

Can I change the page order?

Yes. The files are merged in the order shown in the list. Before you merge, drag them or use the up and down arrows to rearrange them.

Can I add photos (JPG, PNG) to the PDF?

Yes. Drop photos in the same list as your PDFs. Each photo becomes one page, right where it sits in the order. Handy for adding a scanned ID or a signed page to a document. If you only have photos, JPG to PDF does the same with a few more options.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Not yet. A protected PDF has to be unlocked first. Open it with its password, save a copy without the password, then add that copy here. If a file is encrypted, you’ll see a clear warning.

Will merging reduce the quality?

No. Pages are copied as they are, so text, images and page sizes don’t change. Nothing is compressed, so there’s no quality loss.
