Rotate a PDF in 3 steps

  1. Choose one or more PDFs, or drop them onto the box above.
  2. Tap the right or left arrow. Each tap turns the pages 90°, and the preview shows the result.
  3. Press "Rotate" and download the corrected file.

What rotating here does

  • Saved in the file

The rotation is stored inside the new PDF, so it opens the right way on any phone, computer or printer.

  • Quality stays the same

Pages are turned, not redrawn. Text can still be selected and images keep their original quality.

  • Several files at once

If you scanned a stack of documents sideways, add them all, rotate them in one go and download them in a single ZIP.

  • Scans stay on your device

Your browser turns the pages, so the files aren’t uploaded. Use it as often as you like, no account needed.

Questions about rotating PDFs

How do I fix a PDF that opens sideways?

Add the file and tap the right or left arrow, depending on which way the pages lean. The preview turns with every tap. For upside-down pages, tap twice (180°). Press "Rotate" and the new PDF opens the right way up.

Can I rotate only one page?

Not yet. Every page in the file turns by the same amount. If only one page is wrong, take it out with Split PDF, rotate that page here, then put the file back together with Merge PDF.

Is the rotation saved permanently?

Yes. Some viewers only turn the page on your screen and forget it when you close the file. Here the rotation is written into the new PDF, so anyone you send it to sees it the right way.

Does rotating a PDF lower the quality?

No. The page content isn’t redrawn or compressed, only its orientation changes. Text, images and links stay as they were.

Can I rotate several PDFs at once?

Yes, you can add up to 50 PDFs at a time. They all get the same rotation, and you download them together in one ZIP.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. The rotation happens in your browser on your own device, and your files don’t reach our servers. Password-protected PDFs aren’t supported yet. If you add an encrypted file, you’ll see a clear message.
