Watermark an image in 3 steps

  1. Choose your JPG, PNG or WebP images.
  2. Type your text, then pick the strength (Light, Medium, Strong) and the position.
  3. Press "Add Watermark" and download. Several images come together in one ZIP.

How the watermark looks

  • Readable on most photos

White text with a soft shadow shows up on a bright sky as well as on a dark background.

  • A few simple choices

Three strengths and three positions: diagonal across the photo, in the center, or in the bottom-right corner.

  • Many photos in one go

Put the same text on dozens of photos and download them as one ZIP. It’s free however often you use it, and you don’t need an account.

  • Unmarked photos aren’t uploaded

The watermark is added in your browser, so your clean originals never go to a server.

Frequently asked questions

Which position should I choose?

Diagonal covers the whole photo and is the hardest to crop out, which suits product photos and previews you send to clients. Center sits in between. Bottom-right is the most discreet, a simple credit for photos you post publicly.

Can a watermark be removed?

To be honest, yes, if someone puts in enough effort. A corner mark can be cropped off, and editing tools can paint over text. A watermark puts off casual copying and shows who owns the photo, but it isn’t a lock. A strong diagonal mark takes much more work to remove.

Can I add a logo instead of text?

Not yet. The tool adds a text watermark, such as your name, shop name, website or "Sample". It isn’t a full text editor either. You get one line of white text with a soft shadow.

Can I watermark many photos at once?

Yes. Choose as many images as you like. The same text, strength and position are applied to all of them, and you download a single ZIP file.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Open this page in your phone’s browser, tap "Choose files" and pick your photos. JPG, PNG and WebP are supported. iPhone’s HEIC format isn’t supported yet.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Your browser adds the watermark on your own device, and the images don’t reach our servers. Nothing is kept after you close the page.
