Questions about PNG to PDF

How do I convert several PNGs into one PDF?

Select all the PNG files at once, drag them into the right order and press "Convert to PDF". Each image becomes one page, in the order you set.

What size are the pages?

Each page is the same size as its image. A tall phone screenshot gives a tall page and a wide desktop capture gives a wide one. Nothing is cropped or stretched, and no margins are added.

What happens to transparent areas?

Transparent parts of a PNG, such as the empty space around a logo, show as white on the PDF page, the same as they would look printed on paper.

Will the text in my screenshots stay readable?

Yes. The PNG goes into the PDF without lossy compression, so every pixel stays as it was. If you could read the text in the screenshot, you can read it in the PDF.

Why is my PDF quite large?

Lossless PNGs are heavier than JPGs, and the PDF keeps them at full quality. If you’re converting photos rather than screenshots, JPG to PDF usually gives a much smaller file.

Can I mix PNG and JPG images?

Yes. You can add JPG photos next to your PNGs, and they all go into the same PDF in the order you choose.
